It was my husband and I first time here at southern dishes and the employees were very inviting. And the food was amazing, we definitely will be back. Thank you!

Absolutely amazing food and customer service!! I ordered Mac and cheese through a third party app, but didn’t realize the order had been canceled. After arriving I was informed that they had run out of Mac and cheese and didn’t have enough to fulfill my order. Nonetheless, they were extremely accommodating and made sure I didn’t leave empty handed. Food was some of the best I’ve had and everyone was extremely kind!!

I grew up down south and this place hit every mark!! I got the chicken wing dinner with Mac and collards And the seasoning on everything was Absolutely perfect. Those chicken wings were juicy and breaded just right. I really felt like I was having dinner Back home so it’s seriously worth the stop. You definitely have to try the chocolate cake too Because I’d put that on my last meal list

We were visiting the area after attending an event at a nearby sunflower field. There’s plenty of free parking and other stores nearby to check out (and walk off all of the food you eat). Everything we ordered was delicious and true to soul food freshness and seasoning. There is plenty of seating in a clean spacious dining room. I appreciate how the space is taken care of. Danni (Danielle) is such a warm, personable woman who enhanced the already positive experience. Everyone we encountered was “down home” kind which is encouragement to return in the future. The food and service was great. I had chicken straps and mac and cheese. The banana pudding was delicious. The prices were high, but the food is fresh. On a side note, the music is way too loud.

I just ate here w/ my husband & daughter. The food was amazing!!! We got the fried chicken tenders dinner w/ Mac n cheese & collard greens. Ordered a side of baked beans as well. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

Definitely recommend. We came from Manchester and I must say the drive was worth it! We had sticky wings, collard greens and Mac n cheese and a strawberry lemonade drink! Wow! Everything was on point! The owner explained that his daughters cook the food! Ladies AMAZING job! We will definitely be back. I will be letting my coworkers know about this place!

Fast, friendly service! I these people are booked and busy at work bc their food is so good! I recommend online order or stopping by, not calling! We got the fried chicken, fried shrimp, mac, greens and potato salad…They definitely put their foot in it!!
